About WHAA and Our Mission
The West Hempfield Athletic Association is a non-profit organization 501(c)3 established in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Our association provides spring and summer sports activities for children ages 5-18.
Our association also owns and operates the Tillbrook Field Complex located on Tillbrook Road in West Hempfield. Presently, there are a total of 4 baseball/softball fields at the complex. These are Blasco, Merlin, T Ball and Lint Fields. Both Blasco and Merlin support teams ages 5-16 while Lint Field is used primarily by our American Legion teams. Also located on the complex is a concession stand, storage garage and pavilion.
